Practical Nursing

The one-year diploma-level nursing program is designed to prepare students to take the NCLEX-PN for licensure as Practical Nurses. This is done through a sequence of academic and occupational courses that provide the knowledge and skills needed to practice as a competent nurse. A variety of clinical experiences are planned so that theory and practice are integrated under the guidance of the clinical instructor. Entrance into the PN program is a selective admission process.
