The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (AIS) allows a student to customize their studies based on their academic and professional goals. An AIS student has to finish 61 semester credit hours, which includes 21 hours of general education classes and 40 hours from one or more specialized majors, including education, public safety, business and computer/information technology, industrial/engineering technology, and health sciences.

A student might choose the AIS major if his/her specific career goals and interests cannot be met through the College’s existing majors, minors, and electives.
